About Me

Hello, my name is Ben. I am a creative content producer and broadcast production specialist currently working for the Tampa Bay Rays and Fort Myers Mighty Mussels, while also freelancing for Perfect Game. I have substantial knowledge and experience in videography and photography across multiple sports, including baseball, basketball, volleyball, hockey, and motorsports. I am also an FAA licensed drone pilot with over 2,200 drone flights under my belt. From lighting to motion graphics, video editing, and sound mixing, I have the ability to be a one-man shooter/producer for almost any project that comes my way.

With nearly a combined decade in broadcast production, five years in television news and four in sports, I’ve worked every corner of the control room, production truck, and field, from cameras and switchers to audio, graphics, and replay. I’ve been there and done that for the Tampa Bay Rays, WINK News, FOX Sports, BravesVision, and more.

I also have a passion for photography, which has led to great opportunities to freelance for Major League Baseball and have my photos featured on baseball cards and on the covers of magazines.

I am a competitive worker who believes in the importance of storytelling in media, especially video, in today’s world. I believe we are stewards of perspective, and sharing that perspective with audiences (as small as one or as large as ten thousand) demands quality. Quality can only be achieved by getting the details right, and getting the details right can only be achieved through pragmatic effort.
